Our Approach

A Child-Centered, Holistic Approach

Our teachers and staff are guided by Montessori education principals. We pride ourselves on a low student to teacher ratio.  Our teachers develop age-appropriate lessons and works that introduce and strengthen academic and social skills.

In addition to the basics, we offer students a range of gross motor and creative opportunities including weekly music, drawing, crafting, Indonesian dance, and Basketball Class.  We strive to include enrichment activities that extend our students’ knowledge and understanding of the world outside the classroom. Each year our students take a field trip to an apple orchard, fruit and vegetable farm, animal farm, fire station, and we welcome visitors to our school to show us their special contribution and interest.

We are also committed to parent education. Parents must attend orientation and a Montessori training in their child’s classroom to learn about the processes and materials with which their child is working.  All parents are invited to attend Family Night with their child and to actively participate in various parent and family events.
